Our stay at Boat House in the center of Cowes was absolutely wonderful. The cozy decor and spacious layout instantly made us feel at home. We were delighted to find a well-equipped kitchen and even received welcome drinks and biscuits. The bedrooms were spacious and our kids adored the loft room with its perfectly sized beds. The location of the house couldn't have been better, with all amenities and beaches just minutes away. We also appreciated the great communication with the owner and the parking permit that was provided. Plus, having air conditioning in the summer was a definite bonus. Despite a few minor issues like a noisy toilet flush and an uncomfortable double bed with thin and hard pillows, we managed fine. The slight sewage smell in the kitchen area was a bit off-putting, but overall it didn't spoil our enjoyment. The sofas were not the most comfortable, and the sink bowl was a bit difficult to use due to its size. the fridge was small, but we managed to make it work. Despite these small drawbacks, we had a great experience at Boat House and would highly recommend it for a visit to Cowes. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future.
